1) Is Sound Fest All Ages?

As of right now ALL El Corazon and Vera Project shows are all ages. Also, Neumos on Friday Aug. 19th with Jello Biafra is all ages. All other shows at Neumos, Fun House, The Comet and ALL VIP Parties are 21+ Over.

2) What are the venues and how far are the venues from each other?

Neumos and The Comet sit directly across the street from one another. The Funhouse and Vera Project are approximately two blocks from each other with El Corazon essentially sitting in the middle of the two at one mile from either venue. The furthest distance is Vera Project to Neumos, which sits 1 ½ miles from each other.

3) How do I get there? Flights? Shuttle?

The closest airport is the SEA-TAC International Airport. From there you can take the Seattle Light Rail- http://www.soundtransit.org/Schedules/Central-Link-light-rail.xml to the Westlake station, which is in the heart of Downtown Seattle. The cost of the light rail is only $2.50 each way. Another option would be to call our friends at Crown Cab-(206)-72-Crown as they will be offering cheap cab fares for Sound Fest attendees all weekend long.

We are also offering unlimited venue-to-venue shuttle passes for $5, one pass valid all three days all weekend long! You can purchase your shuttle pass through our ticket page on the Sound Fest website.

4) Can I purchase tickets for individual shows?

Yes tickets for all Vera, Funhouse, and Comet shows are available through our website and ticketleap. All El Corazon and Neumos shows are available through etix.

5) What is included in the VIP pass?

Included in the VIP Pass you receive Priority Access to ALL Festival shows, Pre-Parties, VIP Shows, Free Venue to Venue Shuttle Service, and Free Cold Refreshments from our friends at Pabst Blue Ribbon during the Sound Fest Happy Hour at The Funhouse.

6) Can I be an official Sound Fest photographer?

If you are interested in getting a photo pass for this years event please email us at seattlesoundfest@gmail.com include what days and shows you were hoping to shoot. Also, please notify us as to what your photos will be used for.

7) What are the drinking laws?

You may drink until 2am at El Corazon, Neumos, Funhouse, and The Comet. No Alcohol is allowed at the Vera Project. All bands/artists are not allowed to drink on stage per Washington State Law.

8) How do I become an official Sound Fest sponsor?

9) How can I help promote Sound Fest?

We can always use help promoting the fest and here are two great ways that you can help us spread the word about Sound Fest.

1) You can email us at seattlesoundfest@gmail.com with your full contact info and mailing address. We will send you Sound Fest promotional posters and postcards to help spread the word. Please let us know how many of each you would like as well as where you plan to put them up at.

10) How can I volunteer for Sound Fest in exchange for a free pass?

If you live in the Seattle area and want to help out and be a part of Sound Fest here is your chance. We are needing, friendly, responsible, and serious volunteers. Volunteers are always needed the weekend of the fest. We offer a free pass to anyone who works a shift the weekend of. A shift generally runs from 8-10 hours and includes anything from working ticketing, running transportation, to helping with merchandise and loading band equipment.
